Protection of environment

Preserving the natural environment is a constituent part of ETI PROPLAST’s business ethics. We acknowledge it in all its complexity, including the internal environment within the company, local environment, extended social environment and even the whole global system. Our orientation towards an environmental development is confirmed by ISO 14001.

Environmental protection policy

We, ETI PROPLAST d.o.o. employees, bond ourselves to implementation of activities to protect our environment in cooperation with our business partners, wider social environment and organizations, to constantly verify and improve activities for attaining the set goals regarding environment and prevention of pollution.

Goals

• Completion of industrial purifying plant for cleansing of technological and communal waste waters, which will in turn lessen the sewage burden on the environment.
• Waste reduction by economical gathering and assembling of waste.
• Reduction of usage of vaporizable organic substances.
• Control and direction of rational usage of energy, water and assessment of efficiency by specific energy usage compared to company’s sales.

Activities

• Objectives of Environmental Protection Policy will be defined as one of main plan-goals in the company’s strategy of development by 2010. On that basis we will form annual and operative plans with anticipated measures, means, responsibility holders and deadlines. Efficiency and achievement will be regularly verified and, when needed, preventive actions will be taken.
• We will take into consideration, on all levels, the demands of environmental legislation, regulations, standards and other demands, linked to our environmental aspects and agreed to with interested parties.
• Everyone, working for our organization or under its name, will be conscious of and qualify for implementation of environmental policy and the tasks originating from it.
• We will develop permanent forms of communication with our social environment and ensure that the data on environmental effects will be at everyone’s disposal.
• Environmental Protection Policy is posted and available to all employees and other persons inside the company’s premises, and the public.
